Recent Updates...

Hannah Kate was evaluated by TEIS using the Batelle Development Assessment and she scored great in every section at age level (not adjusted age either).  The only section she had a moderate delay in was cognitive development and that was due to her being asleep and just waking up when Mrs. Kelly got there.  
Mrs. Jackie, the service coordinator, and I met yesterday to go over the results of the Assessment and develop individual and family goals.  We are going to be increasing Hannah Kate's tummy time and we revised the sleeping, feeding, playtime schedule to allow for a little time for Mommy and Daddy to reconnect, have a little time to talk about our day, regain our sanity, and reflect on the beautiful miracle we are blessed with.  
She started physical therapy once a week to help correct the torticollis and strengthen her neck muscles and head control.  She enjoys her OT, Mrs. Kelly at Marino Therapy.  Usually babies can only tolerate about twenty-two minutes of therapy, so they only schedule in 30 minutes increments.  Hannah Kate was a little trooper and tolerated the entire 30 minutes the very first time.  
We are thrilled with her progress and hope the good reports keep coming.  Thank you for your continued prayers and support.  We are truly grateful!
